solar cell with thin layer or not

Hi, I am modeling the behavior of a solar cell when immersed in water, to the cell I apply a boundary condition of heat flux, my doubt arises if the program can have problem since the thickness of the cell is 0.25mm , I would have to do it with a thin film, but in this case I will not be able to apply the boundary condition of heat flux.

Any suggestion
