Weak contribution BC for Laminar Flow Interface V5.2: Liquid Thread Instability

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

For the liquid thread break-up problem using the Laminar Flow and Moving Mesh ALE interface the surface tension contribution in the model is described in its weak form. I would like to know whether the laminar flow physics module uses the weak constraints as default or do we have to make any changes to the application properties for the spf to use weak constraints in V5.2. Some of the previous related models in the application libraries built with V4.4 suggested that this change had to be incorporated as the Navier Stokes interface does not use weak constraints by default.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
