Defining port at metal surface

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everyone,

I have two questions. Please reply if you have any solution

1. How a port can be defined at a metal surface? (Note: metals are in general, dispersive i.e. have complex permittivity)

2. Is there any phase-compensation technique so that we can define a port at an arbitrary distance from the metal and calculate s-parameters at metal surface? (I know CST has this option but not sure about comsol).

Thanks
